Dominican Vegan: Powered by Plants

Woke Foods comes to the NYdigs greenhouse and kitchen to lead a hands-on, vegan cooking class that will bring you on a tour of Dominican flavors. Learn how to prepare fresh, seasonal, and easy-to-make vegan dishes rooted in Caribbean traditions.
- Watermelon, Cucumber, and Tomato Gazpacho
- Ripe Plantain Boats (Canoas) with Eggplants and Cashew Cream Sauce
- Smoked Collard Greens
- Coconut Horchata
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to class as we start right on time.
Special Note: The class is located in the greenhouse and classroom at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park. You may register online or in person.
