Gay in the Garden

Gay in the Garden invites queer community members to gather in the garden for creative, healing, and joyful exploration. In this series, participants engage in collective tending, harvesting, garden care, art-making, and queer-centered community-building. Gay in the Garden is a space for queer folks and their allies to come together to show up freely and authentically in the garden. Together, we explore how queerness and ecology intersect—through resilience, adaptation, interdependence, and beauty in all its wild forms. From learning the queer histories of plants to honoring our own pleasure, transitions, desires, and embodied wisdom, this is a space to grow, bloom, and root into belonging.
