Art and AgriCulture
November 5 @ 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Move as a Root, Float as a Leaf, Breathe as Light
Join us for a free movement workshop to connect with yourself and feel more grounded. We’ll begin with a long standing warm-up to settle in.
Then Tato will guide you through three or four prompts. Each one invites you to observe nearby plants and mirror or complement their motion. We’ll close with a 15-minute conversation about what you noticed in your body and your surroundings.
This event is part of Art and AgriCulture. Explore your relationship to food and agriculture, and the histories, stories, and traditions that shape the ways we grow, prepare, and share food.
FACILITATOR
Tato Giligashvili is an experimental filmmaker and dancer from Sakartvelo. Their work investigates generational trauma and seeks out alternative narratives.
ACCESSIBILITY
The kitchen/classroom is wheelchair accessible; with advance notice we can add a mat path across the greenhouse’s pebbled ground (garden entrance has a small raised threshold; garden paths are grass).
Tables adjust height; backless benches/stools available.
Kitchen is shared—we avoid peanuts but can’t guarantee a nut-free space; water provided in refillable pitchers.
First aid on-site; nearest AED is one building away.
Nearest restrooms are ~1 min walk; a gender-neutral restroom is available by key from staff.
Not a scent-free space (essential oils used in class), though we ventilate and welcome masking/distancing.

All Greenhouse Education Center events happen rain or shine.
